During the 2021 early Lockdown, our founder Sinu created Yummy Chumz to change his life, and his family’s for the better. Having previously suffered complications during a spinal LP Tap (viral Meningitis), Sinu had been left with a spiralling neurological condition for many years, which unfortunately led to depression and anxiety. Sinu’s 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with a severe Gluten and Dairy intolerance at the same time. This prompted the inception of the venture to cater to her dietary needs. Since then YummY ChumZ has continued to flourish. The Founder’s 6 year old Daughter got diagnosed with Gluten and Diary Intolerance and Yummy Chumz venture was born to cater to Her needs and it has been growing.


The name Yummy Chumz, is based on the concept of the business being people’s ‘sweet pals’, reflecting the aim of the brand; to listen to people and to be a friend… to serve with love and a smile.

Our Gelatos / Sorbets use 0-7% fat and 90gm organic unrefined cane sugar per 1 litre Gelato. The incorporation of air is 20% which follows in line with Italian Gelato rules as compared to commercial ice cream which consist of 50% fat, 45gms sugar per 100 gm ice cream. Since there are no regulations in ice cream industry, most commercial ice cream makers manually incorporate up to 100% air to increase their profit. To make the Gelatos healthier without compromise on taste, quality and texture, an allergen free Organic Prebiotic / Probiotic blend using vegetable and fruit extraction process are incorporated into the Gelatos / Sorbets to reduce the fat and sugar percentage but enhance the base flavours more. All our Gelatos are free from additives, artificial colours, flavour essences and trans fats. For colour addition to the Gelato, we use organic colours sourced from vegetable and fruits.

Absolutely amazing. Handmade & Homemade Chiros – so light and fluffy! and the Gelato’s (Rocky road and biscotti crumble and sauce) was out of this world. All vegan – I’m not vegan, but I’d defo have this again!! Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious. Was treated to a chocolate lovers gelato and a white choc with raspberry swirl gelato and the family definitely agree, beautiful desserts. These 2 make a great combo in the same bowl too  Highly recommend. Thanks Sinu.
